General Terms and Conditions of Use Milord Net

1. About MSMI-Medição and Milord Net

The following Terms of Use are based on the ethical principles of MSMI-Medição and govern the relationship with users of the Milord Net software. Milord Net is a web-based software that can be described as a system or application and offers the following services:

• Service monitoring
• Equipment control
• Calibration certificates
• Preventive Maintenance, Thermal Qualification and Electrical Testing Reports
• Analysis and signature of certificates and reports
• Management Reports
• User management
• Invoices
• Bills
• Budgets
• Contracts

If you do not agree with the terms described here, please contact us via email at privacidadededados@msmi.com, so that we can analyze and reevaluate the General Terms and Conditions of Use. By using the system, the user agrees to the General Terms and Conditions of Use.

2. Username, password and services

All users who wish to access the Milord Net system must have a login. The user acknowledges that the Milord Net application grants an exclusive license for use, without transferring any rights over the system. Any and all actions performed or content registered by the user during the use of the system will be their sole and complete responsibility. By sending content, the user guarantees that it does not violate the rights of third parties or the company they represent. The user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of access information.

The user is exclusively responsible for all activities carried out in their account and undertakes to immediately notify MSMI-Medição of any unauthorized use of their account or other security breaches. The user authorizes MSMI-Medição to use images and photographs of the instruments registered in Milord Net.

3. Navigation

The system operates exclusively with an internet connection. Therefore, MSMI-Medição is not responsible for any suspension or partial or total non-functioning of the services and information provided by the system in the event of a power outage, internet connection failures or problems with the user/'s computer.

4. Software Management

MSMI-Medição reserves the right to include, exclude or change the contents and functionalities of the system, as well as temporarily suspend it, at any time, without prior notice to the user.

MSMI-Medição may block or cancel access at any time if we find a violation of these General Terms and Conditions of Use.

5. Privacy Policy

MSMI-Medição has a Data Privacy Committee and a DPO – Data Protection Officer, who are responsible for data protection at MSMI-Medição, able to deal with any issue involving data protection in the company.

6. Updates

In order to improve its services, MSMI-Medição may update the General Terms and Conditions of Use of Milord Net, aiming to provide the system user with more security, convenience and to increasingly improve their experience. That is why we recommend that the user access this document periodically, to be aware of the modifications.

The General Terms and Conditions of Use of Milord Net are effective from April 2021 and were updated in August 2024 .

Milord Net Privacy Policy

Medição Soluções Metrológicas Integradas presents the Milord Net software to provide information about the equipment, calibrations, maintenance, certificates of standards used, quotes, invoices, and slips. We value the privacy and protection of our customers/' personal data, and for this reason, we make this privacy policy available, explaining transparently how users/' personal data will be used on the Milord platform.

Cookies and Tags

"Cookies" are identifiers transferred to the browser or device that inform the system administrator how and when pages and features are accessed, including how many people accessed them and from which device.

"Tag" is a generic term for snippets of code that allow data collection from website users, enabling the implementation of features such as videos and images, including the use of cookies.

When a user navigates through the system, cookies are placed in the browser, which automatically collect certain personal data to enable:

System operation (strictly necessary cookies);
Cookies related to system performance and functionalities;
Obtaining aggregated information about visitors;

Internal and Third-Party Sharing

The MSMI-Medição Group is made up of several companies and franchises that make up the Medição Laboratory network. Personal and company data information is shared with group companies, always following confidentiality terms and observing the obligations of the General Data Protection Law (LGPD).

MSMI-Medição does not sell personal or company data collected through Milord Net.

Legal Obligation Compliance: It may be necessary, due to a legal obligation or court order, for MSMI-Medição to share personal data.

Consent and Rights of the Data Subject

MSMI-Medição performs various processing operations in its system, in which it relies on the data subject/'s consent to process personal data such as name, phone, email, and company. For example, we highlight operations such as communication through the "Help" tab. The user can choose not to share their data with Medição at any time, as well as request the end of the processing of their personal data at any time.

However, some data is essential for the provision of certain services, such as the "financial" tab of the platform. Regardless, the user retains their rights related to privacy and the protection of their personal data. If the user wishes to request service for any of their rights under the General Data Protection Law, it may be necessary to provide MSMI-Medição with some data to verify their identity, expedite the response to their request, and/or ensure the necessary security for the procedure. The purpose of this data processing activity is to verify whether the requester/'s data actually matches those of the user to whom the information request or data deletion pertains. We do this to prevent third parties from gaining access to the personal data of our site/'s users and to prevent unauthorized third parties from having autonomy over data processing activities that do not concern them.

Most requests should be answered within 30 days. In especially complex or numerous cases, it may take up to 60 days. In this case, the user will be notified and kept updated on the progress of the request.

Retention Period

Personal and company data used by Milord Net will only be stored for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which they were collected, including to comply with legal, judicial, contractual, accounting obligations, or as required by competent authorities.

All collected data will be deleted from the relevant servers when no longer necessary or relevant to the provision of services, except in cases where there is any reason for their retention, such as a legal obligation to retain data or the need to preserve them to protect the rights of MSMI-Medição. To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data, we take into account the quantity, nature, and sensitivity of personal data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of personal data, the purpose of processing personal data, and whether we can achieve such purposes by other means, and applicable legal requirements.

MSMI-Medição adopts all technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of personal data of site visitors against loss, unauthorized access, or other incidents. Data is stored in a secure environment that is not accessible to the public.

MSMI-Medição strives to protect visitors/' privacy and ensure the protection of their data.
